Description

Chemistry of Fire (Fire Triangle); Classification of Fires; Structural Fire Hazards; Portable Extinguishers; Fixed Fire-Extinguishing Systems; Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Training.

Equip personnel with the skills to identify structural fire hazards, respond immediately to shipboard fire emergencies, and operate tactical firefighting gear.

Students will be able to correctly identify fire classes, safely operate various portable extinguishers, and navigate smoke-filled spaces wearing a full SCBA unit.

Course Rules
